Cart operations
Adding, updating, and removing items, including quantity steps and totals.
Assembly is not a single write. A shopper refines, swaps, and changes quantities across several turns, so cart operations are incremental.
Operations
Add an item, with a quantity resolved against the product’s step and minimum.
Update the quantity of an item already in the cart.
Remove an item.
Quantity resolution
Quantities are not free numbers. Each product carries a step and a minimum salable quantity, and weighed goods are handled in fractional amounts. Neomi resolves a requested quantity against those constraints before writing it, so the cart your checkout receives is one it can accept.
Totals
Where the cart is server-side, totals come back from your cart API rather than being recalculated locally. Your arithmetic stays authoritative.
