Placement and measurement
Where a placement appears, what the shopper can do about it, and how it is measured.
The argument for in-cart merchandising is that it reaches the shopper at the moment of decision rather than in a banner they scroll past. That argument only holds if the placement is honest.
What the shopper sees
Placements are visible items in the cart, not hidden insertions. The shopper can remove any of them in a tap. We treat that as a requirement rather than a configurable setting, because a placement the shopper cannot see is an advert pretending to be a recommendation.
Measurement
Placement performance is reported in the analytics dashboard alongside conversion, cart composition, and prompt data, so the effect is measured on your traffic.
What we do not publish
We have no benchmark figures for this module and we do not quote any. Our one public pilot did not run weekly ads, so any number we attached to it would be invented. A pilot on your traffic is the honest way to size this.
Note on this page
Described from the current implementation rather than from a published contract. Field names and shapes are what Neomi normalizes to today; our engineering team confirms the public naming when the reference is finalized.
