Checkout hand-off
Where Neomi stops and your checkout starts.
This is the boundary. Everything before it is Neomi’s problem, everything after it is yours, and the line does not move.
What is handed over
A complete cart of resolved products with quantities, against the location the shopper is buying from.
What Neomi does not do
It does not take payment. Payment never enters Neomi.
It does not choose tender types. Whatever your checkout supports today keeps working, because that flow is untouched.
It does not become the order record.
The practical question
The scoping question for this module is narrow: what does your checkout accept as an incoming cart? Once that is answered, the hand-off is usually the least complicated part of the integration.
Note on this page
Described from the current implementation rather than from a published contract. Field names and shapes are what Neomi normalizes to today; our engineering team confirms the public naming when the reference is finalized.
